Current Positions

Visitor Volunteer - Visit with residents to provide companionship and conversation. Being responsible for the book cart can also be integrated into your visits. Outing Volunteer - Accompany residents (and recreation staff) on outings in the community. Must be physically able to push a wheelchair. Outings are scheduled Unit Volunteer - Assist residents in a unit by filling water pitchers and providing conversation and companionship. Clerical Volunteer - Assist office staff with general duties (filing, copying, shredding, answering phones, etc). Training is provided. Gift Shop Volunteer - Assist residents, staff, and visitors with purchases in the gift shop. Training is provided. Group Opportunities - Many opportunities exist for your group to interact with the residents at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital.
