Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) |

DESCRIPTION: - $1000 Sign-on Bonus!!
- Completes assessments, develops recreation therapy goals and plans of care for assigned caseload.
- Completes required documentation in a timely fashion.
- Develops and facilitates annual summer camp program and other specialized groups for hospital level patients.
- Attends all care plan and admission review meetings as scheduled for assigned caseload and is able to communicate effectively with other team members.
- Facilitates Recreation Therapy interventions as indicated.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited program of Therapeutic Recreation is required.
- Must be Certification (CTRS) eligible at the time of hire, and certified within twelve months of hire.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Current valid Virginia Driver's License is required.
- One year of experience in a long term care or sub-acute facility's Therapeutic Recreation department is desirable, however, will train the right person.

DESCRIPTION - Works under the direct supervision of the Registered Dietitian in providing accurate diets for residents.
- Performs routine duties vital for the efficient maintenance and work flow of the nutrition office.
- Visits new admissions as required to discuss food preferences.
- Confirms diet changes in the medical record.
- Confirms diet orders quarterly on intermediate care facility (ICF) units.
REQUIREMENTS - High school graduate.
- Completion of a course of study leading to Registration as a Dietetic Technician, or a Certified Dietary Manager.
- Previous experience preferred.
