GE Energy Presents Mural To Lake Taylor

GE Energy, based in Norfolk, VA, recently painted and presented a colorful mural to Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital. The bright and cheerful mural will be placed on the wall outside of the recreation room. Local members of GE Volunteers, including some from other GE businesses such as GE Water and GE Transportation, recently gathered to participate in Paintfest ’08. This event occurs at many GE locations worldwide. “This is the first time that our local chapter participated in Paintfest ’08,” stated Jackie Hurwitz, GE Energy design engineer. “I’ve heard great things about Lake Taylor - I wanted our first mural to go to them.” GE Volunteers in partnership with The Foundation for Hospital Art (www.hospitalart.org) provide the kits to GE Volunteer groups to participate in Paintfest.
